Swap (odos)
The Odos Swap Trigger enables users to set up automated swaps between tokens on the Mode network through Odos' smart order routing. This trigger is particularly useful for users who want to perform optimized token exchanges while minimizing slippage and maximizing transaction efficiency across multiple liquidity pools.
Action:
Specifies the swap action to be performed within the Odos platform:
Odos Swap: Executes a token swap using Odos’ routing to find the best possible rate across various liquidity sources.
Available templates include common swaps such as Swap USDC to WETH, providing a quick setup for frequently used token pairs.
Network:
Allows users to select the blockchain network where the swap will occur (e.g., Mode network). Ensures the trigger operates within the correct network environment for Odos routing.
Token In:
Specifies the input token for the swap, i.e., the token that the user is selling or exchanging (e.g., USDC). Selecting the correct token contract address ensures that the trigger initiates the swap with the designated asset.
Token Out:
Specifies the output token for the swap, i.e., the token that the user will receive (e.g., Wrapped Ether - WETH). This field ensures the trigger accurately targets the desired output asset.
Amount:
Defines the quantity of the input token to be swapped. For example, setting 100 specifies that 100 units of the input token (e.g., 100 USDC) will be exchanged.
Additional Filter:
Slippage: Sets the allowable slippage percentage for the transaction. A value of 1 implies that the user permits up to 1% slippage in the token swap, providing flexibility for cases where liquidity fluctuations might slightly alter the expected output amount.
These fields allow users to monitor and execute swaps on the Odos platform with precision, ensuring efficient transactions that leverage the best available liquidity. This setup is ideal for traders seeking cost-effective swaps, real-time market rebalancing, or automated asset conversions in DeFi operations.
